Paula

I have been a massage therapist for almost 15 years. My interest in it started when I was growing up. My dad had a bad back. He was a farmer and worked hard, so his back always hurt. Somehow I just knew if I rubbed it, it would feel better.

So, fast forward to 2007. I needed to re-enter the work force. My best friend encouraged me to go to massage school, since I was constantly massaging someone’s shoulders, neck, or feet. I am so glad that I did! I love what I do. I feel like it is my way of helping people and adding value to their lives. My favorite area to work on is the neck and shoulders. My favorite modalities are deep tissue, trigger point work, sports massage, and hot stone. My favorite things to hear from my clients are: “oh, that feels so much better, or looser, or I have better range of motion and less pain.”

I love working for Dr. Wilson and Carolyn at East Canyon Chiropractic. I feel like it is my calling to help people feel better, whether that’s through a therapeutic massage or a relaxation massage.
